The property was old, charming and beautiful restored. Every facility you could possibly need was there. I wish I had had time to read the books on Hull in the alcove as they looked very historic and full of Information. Maybe next time!

Cosy and warm. (Electric heaters on when we arrived) warm lamps and soft furnishings. Georgian with modern twists. Small, but useful kitchen. Clean and modern bathroom. Tea cups ready with a biscuit waiting. Nice touch. Bedding - spotless....

Property information

Located at one of Hull's "most photographed" spots, Prince Street is made up of a pretty string of colourful Georgian houses. Access through an iconic Archway connects bustling event space Trinity Square with Dagger Lane. Built in the 1770's, the street is named after the Prince Regent of the time, who later became King George IV. Prince Street is a typical example of Georgian architecture. As towns rapidly expanded during this period, landowners turned into property developers, and rows of identical terraced houses sprung up. Prince Street was no different however shortly after Hull’s industrial age came and docks started to surround the city with the addition of Princes Dock a short distance away – this changed the prospects of Prince Street as richer merchants opted to move further out of the city to escape the hustle and bustle of the area – the property was subsequently used as a lodging house, gentleman’s club, shield making business and who knows what else! Fast forward 250 years and we are offering guests the opportunity to stay in a beautiful property seeped in history and charm with a home a way from home feel….
