The apartments are just 25 minutes’ walk from Edinburgh city centre, 18 minutes’ walk to the Royal Mile and are on a good bus route. All apartments have fully-equipped kitchens, lounge and dining areas and a bathroom. Some apartments have original period features such as high ceilings and sash windows. All Southside Apartments feature free WiFi and plasma TVs with Freeview The kitchens have an oven, microwave, fridge/freezer and washing machine. Towels and linen are included and hair and body shampoo is provided. A starter pack is also provided for your arrival to get you started which includes soap, washing up liquid, washing powder, rubbish bags, toilet rolls and sachets of tea, coffee and sugar. Holyrood Park is just 10 minutes’ walk from Southside Apartments and Edinburgh Castle can be reached in 15 to 20 minutes' walk. There is no onsite parking at our Southside apartments Destination Edinburgh are delighted to have Edinburgh Short term let licences for our Southside apartments. This means we meet all planning, health and safety, insurance and other general conditions set by Edinburgh Council for short term lets. Please make sure you stay at a licenced premises

Renovated in 2007, our Southside Apartments building used to be a popular casino! Traditional Edinburgh stone built tenements, updated with modern furniture and amenities, these apartments are ideal for both family and friend groups looking for comfortable accommodation in the Newington area of Edinburgh.

Neighbourhood information

The apartments are roughly 15-20 minutes' walk from Princes St, There is an abundance of restaurants and bars in the Newington area. The nearest bus stop is almost outside the door and provides an easy transport link to all areas of the city.
