Inverness, the capital of the Highlands, is just a 30-minute drive away, making it easy to embark on adventures along the renowned North Coast 500, visit the enchanting Isle of Skye, or discover the stunning West Coast. Temuka Lodge is situated close to one of the main tourist routes in the Highlands, providing a wealth of nearby attractions and activities. In the near by villages, guests can embark on seasonal dolphin tours, where they may catch a glimpse of the famous bottlenose dolphins that frequent the Moray Firth, especially around Chanonry Point Lighthouse and the harbour. Birdwatchers will be delighted by the opportunity to see a variety of wildlife, including the rare Red Kite. The Black Isle boasts an array of beautiful beaches, with the award-winning Rosemarkie Beach just a five-minute drive away. Temuka Lodge is a family ran business. Your hosts, Richard and Lorraine Comfort have been in the hospitality business for almost 2 decades now, having previously ran hotels and busy restaurants in the city of Inverness. 'Pleasant Point Cottage', 'Geraldine Lodge' and the soon to be 'Temuka Lodge' form the 'Pleasant Point Holiday Cottages, with their names being inspired by their trips to New Zealand. Temuka Lodge will be a tastefully decorated, 1 bedroom, open plan, ground floor cabin which will sleep up to 4 people with its double bed, and sofa bed set up. Temuka Lodge, is a newly constructed 1 bedroom ground floor open plan unit that can sleep up to 3 - 4 people with its double bed and sofa bed. Temuka Lodge, similar to Geraldine, is still currently under construction, but will be bookable real soon. Again, it will be a 1 bedroom open plan unit. All cottages / lodges can be let out together for larger parties.
Temuka Lodge is located in the picturesque Black Isle and is part of the Pleasant Point Holiday Cottages and Lodges. The lodge offers stunning views of the Moray Firth, Fort George, and Ardersier. Nestled among woodlands and nature, it serves as a perfect countryside retreat.
