I lived at the Garden House for over 10 years before I retired, I now live close by with my partner. I take care of it myself with a little help with cleaning from Konnie and Richard and Kathy in the garden. I enjoy hosting and want guests to feel at home during their stay.
We are very proud of our beautiful towns. historic streets and river meadows. The garden house is situated towards the edge of the town, a walk down the lane just across the road leads to open fields and the MacMillan Way. Sainsbury’s Supermarket is a a short walk away.
The magnificent Burghley House with the sculpture park, gardens and adventure play can also be reached on foot. It hosts many events around the year including the horse trials. Rutland Water a 15 minute drive offers sailing, cycling, walking, a small beach and the bird sanctuary. Tallington Lake has water sports and a dry ski slope.
