Situated in a tranquil setting and surrounded by 5 ½ acres of gardens, Victorian-era ponds and woodlands “The Annexe at Fishponds” has beautiful views of the gardens of which you are more than welcome to explore and relax in during your stay with us.
Guest Access: Guest have their own private external entrance. "The annexe" is attached to the main house but is separated by a locked door.
The space: There is one double bedroom, bathroom (with shower), small hallway with a fitted wardrobe. There is no kitchen but there is tea & coffee making facilities and a fridge. There is a small table and chairs and a TV with Netflix and Prime. Robes, towels and a hair dryer are provided for your stay. An iron and ironing board can be provided upon request.
Parking: There is ample off-road parking at the property.
Location: We are 3.7 miles (6KM) from Glastonbury and Street (including Clarks Village retail outlet), 8 miles (13KM) from The Newt and Wells, 15 miles (22KM) from Cheddar Gorge and within an hour by car of Bath, Bristol and Longleat safari park. Due to the limited public transport options in this rural area your own transport will be required to get around.
Other things to note: A continental breakfast (croissant, fruit, yogurt, orange juice) is provided at a charge upon request. The Annexe is non-smoking but you are welcome to smoke in the gardens. Free WiFi is provided. Due to the presence of the unfenced ponds in the garden we regret that we cannot accommodate children. To preserve the tranquillity of the gardens and to protect the chickens and wild birds that roam freely in the grounds we regret that dogs or other pets are not allowed at the property. We have 2 dogs at the property.
