The space is thoroughly cleaned and sanitised before your visit. The Cabin is quirky and cosy. Simply gorgeous! The Apartment is all on one level, with just one step into the property, and one step from the small lobby into the main room. The apartment is on the ground floor of our home, so we live above and are usually available if there are any questions or problems. The key is in a safe box next to the door, and a code will be sent a few days prior to your arrival. A welcome folder explains how everything works, including WIFI code, directions to town, places to visit and local walking and cycling routes.
The nearest airports are Manchester, Liverpool and Leeds/Bradford. With good train routes to the town train station, which is just a 5 minute walk away.
My partner and I take our bikes with us on EVERY holiday.... Sri Lanka being a favourite but also places such as Cambodia, Thailand, New Zealand, Vietnam and not forgetting the amazing cycling and beauty nearer to home in Scotland. Until recently we ran our bike shop and Cafe Lounge combo, The Bicycle Den, in Hebden Bridge.
We live above your apartment so we are usually on hand if you need us for anything (We have co-hosts who can assist you when we are away on holiday). Otherwise you are completely independent from our part of the house. Guests access their own key from the key safe next to The Cabin door.
From The Cabin its a 5 minute walk to central Hebden Bridge, 7 minutes to the train station, 5 minutes from the canal, 1 minute from the Pennine Way which will lead you to the classic Stoodley Pike monument overlooking the valley. Hebden Bridge is a small cosmopolitan, funky alternative town, with many eateries, bars, independent shops, surrounded by beautiful hills and woodland, with canals leading out to the towns of Halifax and Todmorden. Hebden Bridge is a great town for a short break, full of independent shops, cafes, night time entertainment including restaurants, cinema, theatre and a fantastic live music venue The Trades Club.
