The Cartlodge is a newly built suite, comprising of a cosy sitting room with 46 inch curved LED TV, bedroom with comfortable king-sized bed and spacious shower room. Stylishly decorated with quality furnishings. Located in a rural village with country pub. Ideal base for many local wedding venues, 23 miles from Stansted airport, just 2.4 miles from Witham mainline railway station (40 mins to London). Little Braxted is situated 12 miles north of Chelmsford and 14 miles south of Colchester.
We will usually be at home but if not, we are available via phone to answer questions. Happy to give advice about local area and attractions.
Little Braxted is a small village but close to Maldon (with it’s promenade), Colchester (the oldest town in the country), the Essex county town of Chelmsford with its cricket ground and Braintree Freeport designer outlet village just 15 minutes away. The A12 is just 5 minutes away, mainline railway station to London 2 miles away and Stansted airport around 30 minutes by car.
Parking is available on site. Walking and cycling is very popular in and around the village and busses run from Wickham Bishops (5 minutes walk away).
