I was born in Yorkshire and have lived in Harrogate for over 20 years. I enjoy walking in the beautiful countryside and parks around Harrogate and exploring the Dales. I love eating out and socialising in the fabulous restaurants and bars here and with a young son, I enjoy lots of family activities too. Located in the heart of the stunning spa town of Harrogate, The Cheltenham is a large 1 x Kingsize bedroomed apartment (which can be split into Twin beds). Split over 2 levels, the apartment is surprisingly spacious, with modern decor and very well equipped for a comfortable stay. It is situated on a quiet side road, a few minutes walk from shops, restaurants & bars, the Conference centre and beautiful Valley Gardens park. It is close to bus and train stations and there are plenty of parking options within a 3-10 minute walk. It also has a sunny outside patio with table and chairs for those al fresco moments. Please note there are stairs to the front door and within the property.

Neighbourhood information

Guests love the fact they are situated in the heart of Harrogate, so it is easy to explore the many and varied bars and restaurants, quirky coffee shops and stylish boutique shops. It is 2-3 minutes from the train and bus stations, which allows easy access to neighbouring towns such as Knaresborough, York and Leeds. The Dales is only 30 minutes drive away. Here are a few highlights, but please ask if there is something specific you have ain mind, or visit the Tourist Information Centre on Crescent Road (3 mins walk) HG1 2RS: 1-2 min walk - Balterzan's Bakery, M&S Foodhall, Harrogate Theatre, Cold Bath Brewing Co 3-4 min walk - Harrogate Convention Centre & Royal Hall, Bus & Train Stations, McDonald’s, Costa 5-6 min walk - The famous Betty’s Tea Room, Piccolinos and The Ivy, Turkish Baths, Pump Room Museum, Everyman Cinema and beautiful Valley Gardens (with walks up to RHS Harlow Carr) There’s something for everyone when it comes to shopping; antiques, arts and crafts, high-end fashion and monthly Farmers and Artisan markets.
