Thank you for viewing The Cosy Hide. This is a unique and quirky property located in the gorgeous countryside of Cottenham, very close to Cambridge. The Cosy Hide is a caravan but with a big difference. Set in a barn on a 10 acre plot, you can snuggle up and look out at the beautiful countryside views from your windows. You also get the most spectacular sunset views. Although set within a barn, it is open and airy at the same time. It comes with an ‘inside/outside’ area which is big enough for dining and relaxing in. It also has a large outside space complete with an outside kitchen, fire pit/grill and a cosy egg chair to chill out in. It is perfect for a romantic getaway for 2 people. You are able to bring a small dog with you to enjoy the peace and tranquillity on offer (there will be an extra cost for this) and we also have a stable for hire should you have a horse you would like to bring along. We spend a lot of time at the property, but in a separate area, so you will not be disturbed. However, we will be on hand if you should need any help. At the times when we are not on site, we are only a phone call away. We share our space with our 2 friendly dogs - Bentley, a gorgeous Yorkie, and Daisy, a playful Cavapoo.

The Cosy Hide is situated around a 15/20 minutes' drive from the centre of Cambridge making it an ideal place to stay of you want to explore the many delights that Cambridge has to offer. It is also close to the lovely city of Ely, with it's markets, restaurants and bars. Cottenham centre is around a 30 minute walk, or a 5 minute drive. Here you can find all the facilities that a small village has to offer, including some pubs, coffee shops, convenience stores, a Chemist, hairdressers, a lovely fish and chip shop and a very tasty Indian restaurant amongst other things. It is also situated around a 15 minute walk to the Great River Ouse, through lovely countryside. Here you can indulge in some fishing and lots of scenic country walks.
