We have included everything we think you'll need for a comfortable stay. We have also included a few maps for you to peruse and a wee local walking book to get you motivated to get outdoors - whatever the weather!
Our family adore all things outdoors, including the beautiful Highland wildlife -especially red squirrels hence the name of our cabin! Whether you love scaling mountains or just going for a quiet stroll amongst stunning scenery and wildlife, Grantown-on-Spey is the place to be.
I cannot list all of the outdoors opportunities because the list is endless but we have pointed out many lovely walks in our welcome pack. There are many mountain biking and watersports opportunities in this area (check out Glenlivet for biking and walks, and Loch Insh and Loch Morlich for watersports). There are walks you can do right from the caravan park such as the 5K circular called Viewpoints Walk and also the extensive Anagach woods where you can walk or cycle. If outdoors adventure is not your thing, there are also many distilleries in the area, wonderful cafes and restaurants and first class day trips such as The Highland Wildlife Park and Landmark!
