“We stayed here for a festival at Port Elliot. On arrival we were made to feel very welcome. It was a baking hot day so Lloyd very kindly gave us a lift to the festival and even gave us water when he dropped us off. The room we were in was lovely....”

Landlords, Lloyd and Kirsty, have had vast and varied experience in Hospitality and Customer Services, over the last 16 years. This combined with an ethos of exceeding expectations, results in a relaxed visit for our guests.

Property information

Built in the 1600's the Halfway House Pub & Kitchen still retains lots of original features and combines this classic coaching house feel, with modern cooking and contemporary accommodation. We are a family run business, serving the local community of Polbathic and the surrounding towns and villages within the Rame Peninsula. Complete with Micro Library, Children's Play Area, and Vegetable Garden we pride our selves on being more than just a Pub.
