Very friendly and helpful people who provided all that was needed in a room that was very clean and comfortable. Some very touches too: cookies, fresh fruit, even loose-leaf tea!

The Hayloft is well situated near to the town centre, the accommodation was furnished and decorated to a high standard and was excellent value. Reserved car parking is provided and the host could not have been more helpful. Complimentary cookies...

Good location, a short walk to the town, sea front and The Mere. Off main road parking, bedroom facing onto main road, but traffic noise was not a problem. No breakfast or facilities provided, but a ten minute walk into town is the excellent Mondo...

The Hayloft is attached to the side of our Victorian property (Stanley Lodge) and was once a Hayloft, as the name suggests! It is on the 1st floor accessed via stairs (no lift). It has been renovated to provide a modern, self contained bedroom with ensuite shower room (towels provided). The room has a kingsize double bed. Complimentary tea, coffee, homemade cookies, water and fruit are offered, however, with numerous fantastic cafes within a few minutes walk, we do not offer breakfast. We also provide a fridge for guest use. The main town of Hornsea is just a few minutes walk away, and the seafront is approx 10/15 mins walk. There is parking on the road directly outside.
We have lived at Stanley Lodge with our 2 daughters since 2016, gradually renovating the house to bring it back to its former glory. We moved to Hornsea from Hampshire and we love our little town and we are sure you will too!
We are approx. 15 mins walk to the beach and 5 minutes walk to Hornsea Mere. The town is a few minutes walk away and has some lovely little independently owned shops. There are numerous pubs, restaurants and cafes all a short stroll away. We are 40 minutes drive from Hull, 2017s City of Culture, less than an hour from York and an hour from the North York Moors.
