Boasting spectacular views of the North Devon coastline from the hilltop town of Lynton, The North Cliff Hotel is positioned some 500 feet over the shore below. Well within the Exmoor National Park, guests can enjoy horse riding, walking and cycling in the immediate area.
Most of North Cliff’s rooms have stunning views of the rugged coastline, famous for stories of pirates and smugglers. Each room is decorated in light tones, some with large or double aspect windows to make the most of the fresh sea air. An LCD TV and a kettle for tea and coffee are included.
Breakfast is served in the bright dining rooms with floor-to-ceiling windows over look Lynmouth Bay. The town of Lynton is just 200 metres away, and has many shops, pubs and restaurants to enjoy.
The local area has many options for the active traveller. From surfing to fishing to rock climbing, the hotel is happy to provide information of nearby activity businesses.

The hotel is situated in a very quiet area, within 5 minutes walk of Lynton with plenty of small shops and restaurants. We overlook the bay of Lynmouth, which is a 10 min walk, where there is a harbour and lovely walk along the promenade.
The hotel is also within easy walking distance of The Valley of the Rocks, where you can enjoy a picnic, see the local feral goats and take in the breathtaking sunsets!
