"Where tradition meet modern luxury”
The stylish self-contained bed and breakfast room is adjacent to our family home and is equipped with crisp bedding, fine toiletries and quality furnishings. You can relax in comfort - just pull a book from the shelf, snuggle into the sheepskin and warm your toes by the peat-burning stove. Your room has its own front door, well-appointed bathroom, comfortable beds, easy chairs, and gorgeous views across the loch.
Dinner at The Peatcutter's Croft is a relaxed affair - guests share our kitchen table and eat with us and instead of following a set menu we serve meals based on what's seasonal and fresh. That could be anything from roast lamb and all the trimmings to a rich and luxurious venison stew or a great vegan roast vegetable feasts - bring a bottle and share a night of chat! We can accommodate any dietary requirements.
The Peatcutter's Croft is set in a remote and traditional crofting township with stunning mountain views across beautiful Little Loch Broom to the mountains of An Teallach and Sail Mhor. We are 45 minutes from Ullapool on the Dundonnell estate, just off the North Coast 500, and an hour or so from Inverness.
With only 15 full-time residents, Badrallach is a real 'get away from it all' place, with a small but vibrant community, where sheep and humans share the road and life is governed by the seasons.
Seoras is a crofter, musician and architect. He'll offer you lots of information on walks and trips you can go on, plus give you information on local traditions, settlements and history.
You can come to escape the world or choose Badrallach as a beautiful base to explore the west coast, with day trips to Ullapool, Durness or Gairloch easily achievable.
