A cosy and superbly presented large double room within a family home ideal for holiday makers who would like to enjoy a peaceful and relaxing break in the Derbyshire Dales.
The Snug is spacious with skylights enjoying views over the wooded hills which surround the area.
The room has a double bed and can accommodate a couple or a family with a baby (cot available) and/or a child (single inflatable mattresses available).
The room is heated through central heating and is equipped with a television, Free Wifi, a wardrobe and cupboards for storage.
A panelled door leads to the En Suite shower room.
There is a kettle, cups, tea and coffee available at all time. We hope that our guests enjoy their stay in this warm and welcoming family home.
Location: The accommodation is situated in the heart of Matlock (on the edge of the Peak District), halfway between the town centre and the local pubs. Parking is available on street.
Welcome to beautiful Matlock, the doorstep to the Peak District. Passionate about hiking and caving, we have excellent knowledge of the area and can advise where to find nice places to visit in Matlock, the Derbyshire Dales in general as well as in the Peak District.
We are multilingual and are happy to speak in English, French and German.
The Snug is situated in a quiet and peaceful street, yet not far from the buzzing town centre where you will find plenty of shops such as newsagents, souvenir and antique shops, cafes, wine bars and restaurants as well as supermarkets (Sainsbury’s and Marks & Spencers) and more. The train station is only 0.5 miles from the Snug. We look forward to meeting you and hope you enjoy your stay.
