With freshly cooked food and a selection of real ales, The Star Inn dates back to the 18th century. It is situated in Thrussington, a charming village on the River Wreake, and offers free Wi-Fi throughout. Open all day, the restaurant serves tea, coffee and snacks from 9:00 – 5:00. Continental breakfast is provided each morning, full English options are available, and there are a range of traditional pub favourites for lunch and dinner. Rooms at The Star are spacious and sleek, with wooden furnishings. Each comes with a flat-screen TV, facilities for making tea and coffee, and a tiled bathroom with a hairdryer. The building is located north of Leicester, just off the Old Fosse Way, the only Roman road in Britain that has kept its original Latin name. The centre of Nottingham can be reached in 30 minutes by car.
