We are a small but thriving Café and Guest House who take pride in offering a relaxing and enjoyable experience.
Our guest rooms are comfortable and cosy with a mixture of tradition that reflects the age of the house and modern amenities.
Breakfast is served in the Café ( before opening later in the day to the public) where you will be able to choose your breakfast which could be a full cooked breakfast, a stack of fluffy American style pancakes with fresh fruit or just thick cut toast with delicious fruit jams.

The building was originally built in the 1850's and many changes have been made over the years. What is now a Café was originally a grocers shop and through it's long history been a sweetshop, chip shop and Bridal shop.
As the building is old there is a great deal of "character" in and around the letting rooms.
The main stairway to the letting rooms is a spiral staircase so help will always be given to get bags upstairs. The corridor to the stairs is low and so take care to mind your head. The doorway to the letting room Nora's is low, along with the door to the ensuite. Once in the ensuite it is a full height ceiling. The ceiling in Nora's slopes so not the best for very tall guests.
Kitchener's is a more conventional room with standard height doors and ceilings, but still accessed via the same spiral staircase.
There is only on street parking outside the property. A pubic carpark can be found only a few minutes walk away.
