Ty Cambria is a small stone barn conversion. A large open plan room room, with two single beds pushed together and made up as a double at one end, in the middle a table and chairs, and a large sofa against the wall. It is beautifully furnished.
It doesn't have its own Wifi at the moment but I am internet connection is not great around here, we often have to resort to hot spotting.
There is a television which I understand can be plugged into a laptop. Also a DVD player and a CD machine.
There is a small kitchen with a breakfast table chairs, a large fridge, no freezer. It has a very efficient cooker, a microwave, toaster, electric kettle and a coffee machine.
The shower room which is very efficiently heated, also has a loo with a douche attachment. There is a mirror over the basin but no shaver point.
If you need freezer space, you can put things in ours which is accessible in an outbuilding. Also, you can use our washing machine.
It has its own private entrance, leading out onto a gravelled yard where in the summer you can sit out and eat, barbecue if you like.
There are two pubs within walking distance and a smart restaurant, Y Polyn which is just over a mile away.
I love cooking and reading. We lived in Turkey for several years.
I am happy to do breakfast for you, or picnics, lunch or dinner by arrangement.
Conveniently situated for the Botanic Garden, Aberglasney, Bishop's Palace, Carmarthen, Dinefwr and several other castles. Lovely beaches not too far away. Great walking in the Beacons and Brechfa Forest.
The countryside around here is lovely, it is also great cycling country, not too distant, Abergorlech is famous for this.
We are positioned close to the junction pond of the Tywi and Cothi rivers, both famous for fishing. A lovely walk is along the banks of the Cothi only.
Also, Trinity church is close by, decorated by a pupil of Pugin, it is beautifully situated on the bank of the Cothi, well worth a look.
