Loved the conversion, it was modern but still complimented the original barn features. It was also very quiet and peaceful. Plenty of parking. Hosts provided excellent infuriation and were very friendly.

The Barn originally part of Shiloh Farm dates back to the 17th century and has been recently converted from stables keeping the old charm and character of the building. As well as two beautiful double bedrooms, an open plan kitchen diner, there is a comfortable lounge with a large sofa. There is a small terrace outside the barn which is the perfect place to have a drink in the evening sun. We also have a 100m2 garden which is securely fenced, with a patio set to enjoy the summer sun. Situated amongst the Saddleworth Hills, people staying at this property will have the ability to enjoy the large areas of open countryside with many local footpaths to explore, with stunning views across Saddleworth to the right and views over Manchester to the left. Parking available next to the property. During your stay you can enjoy the entire house, the terrace outside and a huge 100m2 lawn garden with views of farmland and the surrounding hills perfect for relaxing on a summers day.
On the Edge of the Peak District National Park, Shiloh Farm is situated a 30 minute walk from the village center (Delph) offers a selection of pubs and restaurants, with cuisine available from traditional English fish and chips, to Tapas and Indian cuisine. There are 3 pubs within walking distance the closest being The Roebuck, (10 minutes away) offering good home cooked food and stunning views of Oldham and Manchester on a clear day. In addition to this Uppermill is a 10 minute drive, with a great offering cafes, bars restaurants, museums and walks on offer there is something for everyone. To enjoy the area you will need a car. The nearest public transport is about a mile away, from the Metrolink station there are 4 trams an hour into Manchester City Center. There’s many public footpaths and the lanes in the area have very little traffic, so walking and cycling are also great ways to explore.
