Your hosts Neil and Marion look forward to welcoming you in their home, and helping you get the most from your visit.
Neil grew up in Uist and can tell you chapter and verse about this most special place, and Marion is from Germany- handy for some of the many European visitors who love to visit the Outer Hebrides.
North Uist is one of the most magical islands in Scotland’s Outer Hebrides.
It’s where the eagle soars, the corncrake calls and the rhythm of nature is still at the heart of daily life.
Neil and Marion’s new B&B in the stunning north-west of the island near Sollas, the area of Malaclate famous for its beautiful beaches where the air is breathtaking with the scent of wild flowers from the machair land.
Walking on the hills and seeing for miles- even as far as the mysterious archipelago of St Kilda some 40 miles to the north-west.
A spot of fishing perhaps or birdwatching.
From majestic eagles to busy oyster catchers and lapwings, otters and red deer, North Uist is renowned for its wild life.
You’ll certainly hear and may even see that elusive corncrake!
