I am an avid traveller and enjoy spending time with family going on short trips around the UK, Europe and several countries in other continents. We started hosting during the lockdown to give people an opportunity to travel and explore the wonderful variety of scenery on offer in Dunoon and the surrounding areas.
We visit Dunoon and several neighbouring towns several times this year and are looking forward to exploring all that Scotland has to offer during the short holidays without having to worry about the lockdown rules that are constantly changing over the last two years.
We are a family with young children and understand what is required in a short stay comfortable accommodation to make the holiday season enjoyable, pleasant and worry free. We often take time to get away from the busy London hussle and get some well deserved rest when we are in Dunoon. Going for long walks in Bishops Glen, West and East bays and also enjoy short drives up and down the coast.
Dunoon is a small town set in the stunning Cowal Peninsula of Argyll and is just over an hours commute from the centre of Glasgow. The area offers primary and secondary schools, a leisure centre, an eighteen hole golf course, two supermarkets, a variety of unique shops and restaurants and a cinema. There are numerous outdoor pursuits on offer locally including mountain biking, sailing, quad biking and hill running all available with a backdrop of outstanding scenery
