Property information

This B-listed treasure was built in 1860, it has very recently been refurbished and refitted with lots of comfortable contemporary features - all perfectly proportioned for a relaxing stay for two. It also enjoys stunning views of the Cairngorm Mountain range from the living room and bedroom. The living room has a cosy woodburner, keeping the lodge toasty even in the snowiest winters. There is a sleek and contemporary kitchen with a lovely big butlers sink, oven, fridge and washing machine. The separate dining room next door in fact seats four - should you decide to invite anyone else to supper during your stay. The bedroom is light and airy and has a king size bed, and your bathroom has both a bath and shower. There’s a hot tub, BBQ and outdoor eating area.

Neighbourhood information

Loch Insh is within dashing distance of the front door, perfect for enjoying some wild swimming or you can also use the owners’ rowing boat for a little boating tour around Loch Insh. If you fancy trying to catch your own supper, why not speak to us about arranging fishing in the loch? With so many outdoor activities to enjoy, you’ll be pleased to know that you can securely store your bikes, fishing equipment or skis in the stone shed in the garden. The garden is secure and fenced all the way around so perfect if you decide to bring your dog too.
