Nestled in the secluded village of Great Barrow and just 5.5 miles from Chester, White Horse Inn is a traditional coaching inn. Free parking is possible on site, and free WiFi is accessible throughout. Rooms at White Horse Inn are furnished in a cosy, contemporary manner. Each room has an en suite bathroom, as well as a flat-screen TV and tea/coffee making facilities. On the same site as the accommodation is a local pub, which has a comprehensive selection of drinks including around 32 gins. The White Horse Inn is also in the CAMRA real ale guide and supports local small breweries with continually changing cask ales. Meals are also serves pub food in the restaurant from Tuesday until Sunday every week, using ingredients sourced locally wherever possible. Further bars and eateries are within a 6-minute drive, in the village of Tarvin. Chester Zoo is 6 miles from the property, whilst Chester Cathedral is a 15-minute drive away. Manchester Airport can be reached in 34 minutes by car.
