Wrens Nest is one of four holiday cottages in Newcastle Emlyn, on the private estate of Dolhaidd Isaf in the Teifi Valley with a mile of the famous River Teifi flowing through the grounds.  This Newcastle Emlyn holiday let offers the unique opportunity for private game fishing, for one rod, available by prior arrangement. Fishing is for Brown trout, Sea trout and Salmon in season. Wrens Nest is a cosy retreat from the hustle and bustle of life and is on one level with everything you need. Relax in the enclosed garden and enjoy the starry nights, free from light pollution allowing plenty of opportunities to spot shooting stars. Please note: this property allows a maximum of 2 dogs. No other pets are permitted.

From the accommodation, it is a short drive to the historic market town of Newcastle Emlyn with various independent shops, cafes, and restaurants to satisfy everyone’s needs. The 13th-century Norman castle ruins sit on the banks of the river Teifi with riverside walks. Places to stay in Newcastle Emlyn offer easy access to Cardigan Bay and the North Pembrokeshire coast where you can enjoy breathtaking views, enjoy days at the beach, explore rocky coves or go on dolphin spotting boat trips.  Aberporth is only a short distance away, with two sandy beaches and a great pub with gorgeous sea views.
