The place is famous for its beaches (Grande Anse, La Perle, Tillet, etc...) and for hosting the annual shooting of the English series "Murders in Paradise". Another must-see visit is the Botanical Garden of Deshaies, considered one of the most beautiful gardens in the Caribbean. Living in Deshaies for more than 22 years, we will be pleased to welcome you to these magnificent places on the Leeward Coast. Upon your arrival, a selection of good addresses and advice will be given to you (visits, restaurants, catering, hikes, etc...) to spend an excellent stay in Deshaies. Welcome to the cottages of Villa Atemoya. Located 400 m from the beach of Bas Vent Fort Royal, it is composed of 3 charming cottages around the owners' residence. The 3 cottages can comfortably accommodate 2 to 4 people. They all have a sheltered terrace, a kitchen, a living room, an air-conditioned room and a bathroom with an Italian shower. A dishwasher is installed in each cottage. Finally, a laundry room with washing machine and dryer is accessible to the 3 cottages (see prices). At the back of the villa, on the mountainside, is a beautiful swimming pool with salt treatment and a deck common to all 3 cottages. The new owners (since 05/2022), Audrey and Stéphane, live on the spot and will be happy to inform you about the best addresses in Guadeloupe.

Neighbourhood information

Fort Royal beach is 400 metres away by foot. On this beach you can practice activities such as tennis, diving, windsurfing and others at the Fort Royal Hotel (see prices on site). From this beach, starts the 7 km hiking trail to the village of Deshaies via the beach of La Perle (1 km) and Grande Anse (4 km). A bakery and grocery store are 300 m away (open from 6am to 8pm), a Leclerc supermarket 5 km away, the Botanical Garden of Deshaies is 7 km away, the Soufrière is 1h20 away. The airport is 37 km away.
