Ancient Thira hotel is nestled in the famous village of Kamari, between the famous Ancient Thira archaeolocial site and mountain and the famous black sand beach. Within walking distance one can reach the beach (3 minutes walk, 250m ) and the area with restaurants, bars and cafes, mini markets and bus station. There are a number of things and places to see and visit in Kamari. The famous long black beach with its beach bar/cafes, walk to the famous archaeological site pass through the cave with the running waters and continue walking until the monastery of Prophet Elias.
