The apartment and garden is on a lower level, at the back of the building going down the side stairs, so very quiet as it's not on the road side. A full renovation was complete in April 2022; everything in the apartment is brand new. It is located at the rear side of a 2-story house. Therefore the garden is quiet and hidden from the street. The building is two blocks away from the central street of Paleo Faliro with many shops, cafes, bars and restaurants. Within a 10 minute walk you can reach the beach and Marina Flisvos, the start of Athens Riviera with beautiful sunsets overlooking the the Saronic Gulf. From the marina you have the option of the day cruise to the gulf's islands (Hydra, Poros and Egina) without having to travel to the busy port of Piraeus.
Maria and her family is the host of the apartment. Friendly, responsive and loving hospitality. Despite they live in the same building, you will notice they are discreet but also always available in case you need them. The host grew up in Paleo Faliro so can always share recommendations and reply to your questions about the area, Athens or the best beach sports nearby.
The apartment is two blocks away from the central street of Paleo Faliro with many shops, cafes, bars and restaurants - Agiou Alexandrou. Within a 10 minute walk you can reach the beach and Marina Flisvos, the start of Athens Riviera with beautiful sunsets overlooking the the Saronic Gulf. From the marina you have the option of the day cruise to the gulf's islands (Hydra, Poros and Egina) without having to travel to the busy port of Piraeus. Transportation options: Walking, Taxi (Beat app), Public Transport (bus, tram) Paleo Faliro is only 15 minutes ride away from Athen's city center. Direct bus to/from the airport (X96) around 5 mins walk to the stop.
