At a unique mountainous landscape of Crete Arodamos provides to the guests the opportunity to explore and enjoy nature, relax by the pool and participate in agricultural activities, such as the traditional threshing with the donkey, collecting eggs, vegetables and fruits from the organic harvest, milking goats and sheep, making cheese and bread, or enjoy a ride with a bicycle around the plateau. All six houses have a fully equipped kitchen, living room with fire place and a courtyard with barbeque. The houses are built with respect to the enviroment, using wood and stone and their energy needs are covered exclusively by renewable energy sources. There is unlimited internet access to all houses. It is ideal both during summer and winter.

We are Yannis and Irini, born in the village of Kroussonas. We love nature up to the mountains, the animals, cooking traditional cretan food and give to our guests the best personal experience of the mainland of Crete. We like hiking, swimming and we respect the environment, that is why our apartments are supplied exclusively from renewable energy sources and we recycle. Our main goal is to see our guests leave with a big smile on their faces!

The plateau of Livadi is considered to be in one of the seven geoparks of Europe. Its apple and pear trees are very famous for their delicious fruits and their quality. You can access Nida, the cave where Zeus was raised by the Kuretes. You can also go to the Observatory of Skinakas, to the lovely oak tree forest of Vromonero, or visit the beautiful monastery of Agia Irini. Every year, in September, the Apple Feast takes place at the Livadi plateau, the homeland of the famous apples of Kroussonas, very near to our guest houses! Apart from the traditional cretan music, dances, food and sweets made of apple, there will be activities for you to enjoy, such as archery and horse riding. Our little friends can enjoy a ride with our donkey, Aspasia! Come to see and get familiar with the process of cultivation and harvest of the apples, taste their unique quality and have fun all day long!
