i love welcoming guests to the property and making them feel at home. If guests have any extra requests, we can try and facilitate them as long as we know in advance. For example a pre-stocked fridge (paid by guests), booking ferry boat tickets, arranging transfer from the airport to the Port of Lavrio, booking a rental car on the island, baby sitting.

The property offers a fantastic sea view. The outdoor area caters to all needs, those that want to swim and and sunbath as well as those that want to relax in the large shaded area. The property is 3 minutes by car from the large sandy beach of Otzia, which has 2 restaurants and 5 minutes from the well know picturesque marina of Vourkari, which has restaurants, cafes, bars and some boutiques. This property is ideal for those that want to relax and enjoy their vacation. The property is stone built and is decorated in a typical cycladic style, with a large terrace.

Neighbourhood information

Only 3 minutes from the house is the large sandy beach of Otzia with umbrellas and sunbeds, 2 restaurants and a mini market. 5 minutes from the house is the Picturesque Marina of Vourkari, with fish restaurants, tavernas, a mini market, cafes, bars, an ice cream shop and some boutiques. At Vourkari there is a scuba diving club for those that like diving, as the island has some lovely reefs and some ship wrecks. You can also book a trip around the island. Chora (Ioulis) the main town of the island is high up in the hills 15 minutes from the house. No cars are allowed in the town as it has narrow cobbled roads. Ioulis has restaurants, cafes, boutiques and a lot more. You can sit at one f the cafes and enjoy the glorious sunsets. There are many sandy beaches to visit, some with sunbeds and umbrellas other a bit more remote, for these you will need a 4 X 4. Two of the beaches, Koundouraki and Spathi have water sports. On the east side of the island is Karthea and ancient city that was discovers about 130 years ago, well worth a visit. For me the best part of the island is the locals, they are so friendly and hospitable, Greece as it used to be.
