This pretty county house Ilios is situated in an idyllic spot of Afrathias in southern Crete. Here you are surrounded by greenery, but at the same time, only five minutes away from the azure blue Libyan Sea, Matala, Kalamaki, and Kamilari are close. The house is on a fenced plot with a garden with many fruit trees. From the porch, you look out over the fields of the Afrathias region. There is a living room with a well-equipped kitchen, a bathroom, and a bedroom with a double bed and the 2 couches in the living room make it the ideal holiday home for couples and families. This country house Ilios is a wonderful home base for true hiking and nature lovers. Since Southeast Crete has little tourism and the Cretans themselves are often not avid hikers, the gorges here are unspoiled and nice and quiet. If you want to keep it less intensive, you can also drive endlessly through beautiful mountains and along the azure blue coastline on impressive and very quiet roads.
