Irini΄s house is a Cretan traditional stone house, built back in the 19 century. The house is nestled in a quiet village hidden in the mountains, called Alones. The original character and the Cretan traditional architecture have been preserved and taken under serious consideration during renovation. The village is a great base to explore a lot of outstanding places and beaches(photos)such as Plakias ( 14 km away by car), Damnoni, Moni Preveli, Rodakino, Frangokastello, Hora Sfakion and Rethimno. If you want to immerse yourself in Cretan life in a peaceful location, the house is a perfect choice. It is ideal for those who want to relax from the city bustle and enjoy the nature. You have the chance to breathe mountain air (Krioneritis 1312m) compined with wonderful views over the area (very close to a magic forest).(irinishouse,com)
