Kite Blue Villas is a fully refurbished traditional country residence situated in the picturesque village of Kattavia, in southern Rhodes. It has an ideal location, both within the traditional settlement and only 6 minutes away from the Prasonisi beach, the world-renowned kite surf/surfer’s paradise. All the unspoilt beaches of southern Rhodes are 5-10 minutes’ drive from the Villas. Kite Blue Villas is a characteristic specimen of early post-war Rhodian architecture, dated from 1947. The combination of classical decorative elements and furnishings, some of which are over 80 years old, with all the modern conveniences makes this the ideal accommodation for the visitor who seeks relaxation, comfort and luxury. The accommodation was renovated in 2020, with a view to promote the region and the hospitality of its residents, in an authentic and direct way.
Kite Blue Villas is in the traditional village of Kattavia, known for its enchanting nature and excellent location. Mini markets, cafes and restaurants offering local Rhodian cuisine can be found close-by. Prasonisi, the surfers’ paradise, is only 6 minutes’ away by car, while the well-known beaches of Primmiri (9 klm) and Lachania (11 klm) are 10-13 min away. The beautiful cosmopolitan village of Lindos, with the white houses, the impressive castle, the ancient temple of the goddess Athena and St Paul’s Bay is only 37 klm away. Kite Blue Villas is only a breath away from other traditional villages of South Rhodes, like Monolithos with its exquisite medieval castle, Apollakia, Asklipio and Lachania, for those who wish to sample the Rhodian hospitality.
