Kallinikou Residence is a typical example of an old residence of Splantzia, renovated with great taste and attention to detail! Emphasizing simplicity and with absolute respect for the tradition that accompanies it, Kallinikou Residence offers 90 sq.m. of refined decoration, with all possible comforts for its guests! The vision of both the renovation’s responsible, as well as the owners, is for the guests to feel as comfortable as possible and let themselves be enchanted by the combination of the old, enriched with all the modern comforts! The house has 4 levels connected by an internal staircase. On each level there is a bathroom, air conditioning and a smart TV. Entering the ground floor, we find ourselves in a fully equipped kitchen with a wooden table, which will undoubtedly host all your meals!! On the same level there is a washing machine and dryer that can be used freely by all guests! The two independent bedrooms are located on the 1st and 2nd floor respectively. Each bedroom has its own bathroom. On the 1st floor, guests can choose between one double or two twin beds, depending on the composition of their group or family!! In the bedroom on the 2nd floor, the double bed will offer you nights of absolute rest and relaxation! Continuing to the 3rd and final level, we find ourselves in the loft which serves as a small sitting area, perfect for reading your book or working! From there is the access to your own private terrace with a wonderful view of the Old Town and the White Mountains. The terrace is very conveniently equipped with an extra sink, mini fridge and glasses so you can enjoy a glass of wine without having to go all the way to the kitchen! We invite you to enjoy your evenings, with a nice bottle of wine, admiring the wonderful view that spreads out in front of you!!!

Kallinikou Residence is located in the heart of the Old Town of Chania! Next to the historic square of Splantzia in the so-called "old Turkish neighborhood" where visitors are transported to another era in front of the only active church with a bell tower and a minaret! The Venetian Port, the old arsenals, Orthodox churches, Ottoman mosques and Venetian chapels, narrow streets with hidden architectural gems, built centuries ago, restaurants, bars, cafes, shops and of course the famous Lighthouse are all a wonderful walk away! The farmers’ market, a few steps from the accommodation, invites you to taste local delicacies and traditional Cretan products every Saturday! The great advantage of this area is that the modern part of Chania is just as close. In 3 minutes on foot, you are at the famous Municipal Market, shops, supermarkets, etc. Also important is that – as the majority of the Old Town is pedestrianized – Splantzia is one of the few areas where vehicles are allowed to pass through, which immediately offers the guests the opportunity to have their vehicle nearby so to explore the wider area. Parking, especially in the summer months, could be tricky... For this reason, the parking lot (extra charge/under availability) located directly opposite the entrance of the accommodation, is highly recommended. Kallinikou Residence is located at the most focal point, offering the combination of the old and the new, without being affected by the external sounds of the square, as its facade faces a narrow street.
