Mary's beachfront Villa used to be the retreat from the daily routine, for me and my entire family, for many years. Right on the idylic beach of Vlychadia, this modern maisonette styled villa split in 2 floors, is located only a few steps from the crystal clear waters of the Aegean Sea. To reach the Villa from the beach of Vlyhadia, you will have to get on a 30 step staircase and a 20 meter passage. It has 4 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms with shower cabins - W/C and toilets, a fully equipped kitchen attached to the main living area with dining table which can easily facilitate 8 persons. However the highlights are the spacious teraces that overlook the sea, and are equiped with ourside furniture. Guests can enjoy their meals and drinks in an ambient atmosphere marveling the unique sea view from above.
My name is Maria Koumpa, born and raised in Kalymnos from a traditional Greek family with strong ties and values. One of these values is the genuine Greek hospitality, a heritage that runs through the family from generation to generation. Since i spent almost the entire year at the nearby island of Kos, where i run my own business, i decided to give visitors to the island of Kalymnos, the oportunity to discover this hidden jewel, this secluded little holiday paradise, the small yet so privileged settlement of Vlichadia and the "handcrafted" hospitality by the members of my dear family who still live there. I remain committed to my guests, although from a distance, to guarantee a relaxed and worry free holiday.
This is a quiet, semi residential settlement with only a few houses, a couple of tavernas and cafes and a mini market for daily shopping, just a stone's throw away. Supermarkets, Gasoline station, farmacy and all kinds of stores are plenty at the capital town of Kalymnos which is 5 km away.
