Our father's house, built in the 1880s, within the walls of the Castle of Ioannina, next to the residence of Pasha Kalos, and just a few steps from the fabled lake Pamvotis, has always served as the starting point for our childhood explorations. 2018 saw the loving conversion of the same cherished haven into a guest house. Seven airy, sophisticated rooms, each with its own distinct personality and all modern conveniences (internet, flat-screen TVs, eco-friendly linens, and amenities), are situated within two buildings connected by an internal courtyard that also doubles as outdoor living space all year round. From this gathering spot in the internal courtyard, guests can walk a few steps to the interior living and dining area with the arches and the old well, where everyone can enjoy a drink, coffee, a chat, or breakfast and undoubtedly experience a little of local hospitality.

Neighbourhood information

Our property is located within the walls of the famous castle of Ioannina. We are just a stone's throw from Lake Pamvotida and the boats that take you to the little island. We are next to the Acropolis of Its Kale, the Byzantine Museum, and the Silversmithing Museum. Restaurants, cafes, and the shopping center of the city of Ioannina are less than 5 minutes walk away.
