Surrounded by lush greenery, the villa offers a serene and peaceful environment to unwind and recharge, while gazing at the sea and horizon afar. This enchanting 1-bedroom villa covers 100m2 and boasts a cozy living room, kitchen and two bathrooms. The villa is located in the traditional village of Margarites, nestled in the rolling hills, boasting a rich pottery history and renowned for its exquisite handcrafted pottery, also offering a traditional taverna. The location of the villa ensures that you are surrounded by peace and tranquility, while still being within easy reach to the village (short walk), the nearby towns and several sightseeing attractions. Sunshine Villa is an all-year destination for those wishing to disconnect and get close to nature. Note: Winter period (November - March): Please note that firewood for the fireplace can be provided by the owner with an additional charge. A supply of 60-70 kg of wood is sufficient for one day when the consumption is at a normal level. The charge for this quantity of wood will be fifteen euros. Accommodation cost excludes Climate Resilience Tax. The amount for the accommodation type is set at 15 euros per night from April to October and 4 euros per night from November to March, payable upon check-in.

The villas are situated in the peaceful area of Margarites village.The village of Margarites is south east from Rethymnon town in the centre of the island of Crete. Located in picturesque green rolling hills, the village is well known for its pottery and attracts many visitors in the busy season. The tradition of pottery goes back many generations in this village and you will be able to find an elder to show you how the pots are hand thrown. The village which has some extraordinary architecture and lovely narrow winding streets is well worth exploring. There are also some Venetian doorways, Byzantine churches and plenty of traditional taverns and cafés to relax in and perhaps to try a Greek coffee. Margarites village also has some essential shops such as mini markets, taverns and a bakery.
