The house is located to South Crete, into our ten acres fenced olive grove close to Triopetra beach, one of the most famous and beautiful beaches of Crete all about 5 min away. (2.5 km). Also is located at the foot of the mountain Siderotas, so hiking lovers can spend their day walking at an uphill road starting from the house. After one hour of walking they will meet the now deserted monastery of St.Onoufrios. The cozy atmosphere and the simplicity are main elements of this home. The energy is perfect for yoga retreats, horse riding, hiking, or just for a holiday. It's a true oasis of peace for 6 guests, offering great privacy and the opportunity to view the surrounding olive yards and the magnificent landscape. There is a taverna which is called "filenia" within walking distance and the famous Natural spring Vroules with drinking water from the mountain.There are also tavernas along the seafront. At South Crete there are no large cities to dim the sky with their glare, the stars seem so bright and close that you want to reach out and touch them. My name is Labros and I was born in Island of Crete (Rethymno). I have Studied Mathematics to the University of Crete . Triopetra was my Childhood place and "Green Dream" is my sweet home with nostalgic feelings. Now this magnificent country house , with pleasure I propose it for those who are attracted by the nature beauty of Crete. Guests love walking around the neighbourhood. hiking up the mountain or walking to the Triopetra beach (2.5 km away). They also go for shopping to nearby villages: The Traditional villages of Akoumia, Vrisses, Saint Pavlos, Agia Galini are close to the cottage (about 15 min.driving) "Spili", 18 km driving, ideal destination during the summer months with the coolness provided by the two plane trees in the middle of the village. provide access to various local shops, supermarkets, bakery, banks, ATM, dentist and health center, tavernas and traditional cafe'. Don't forget to visit the monastery of the Holy Spirit and the strange chapel of Agios Antonios (St. Anthony) southeast of the village.
