Villa Fioretta, a creation o my soul, is connected with certain parts of my childhood, my mother's name, derived from a secret Roman name meaning "flourishing". It expresses my dreams and the memories I had as a child, running carefree on my grandfather's estate. These dreams and experiences, have found their refuge here, away from the city and all the negatives vibes of the modern life (pollution, noise pollution, stress), an erotic nest, where everything pushes you to realize every dream of your imagination. In the natural environment of olives, fruits, arbutus and cypresses, with a special microclimate (low humidity and constant refreshing wind), I designed the Villa stone house in harmony with the traditional geometric shape.. It was built mostly from materials extracted (stone and wood) site, natural preserving the bioclimatic characteristics of the stone architecture and incorporating all the comforts of a modern luxury home.
Our Villa is located at the village Marmaro, in the island of Corfu, a little village at the west side of the island, about of 18km away from the historical center of Corfu town. A traditional village situated at the foot of the hills and spread out in front of meadow of Ropa. There is no tourism development, but it holds one of the oldest traditional corfiot festival, on the 17th of July, celebrating saint Marina, the village’s church, with live traditional musicians with lots of folklore music, roasted lamps and tons of Greek entertainment spirit. Marmaro is among the villages of Giannades and Kanakades while it is in a distance of about 6 km from the village of Liapades.
