Three-bedroom Villa Polymnia affords absolute privacy for those who want tranquillity but still be within walking distance of the local beach and waterfront eateries. Set on one level, the villa has classical Greek accents such as the white, pillared fence, the poolside statue and the traditional BBQ.
The huge swimming pool expands across the breadth of the property, perfect for cooling laps. A large manicured lawn is bordered by palms and flowering bushes. Steps lead up to a separate dining pavilion for evenings enioying BBQ fayre.
Classically attired throughout, the villa has a white open plan kitchen and two indoor dining tables. The master bedroom is really spacious and the villa is capable of accommodating up to seven adults. The twin bedroom is great for kids and singles.
Situated in the peaceful rural area between Avithos beach and Svoronata village, the seaside areas of Ai Helis and Minies are just a few minutes drive away. Expect family friendly, unspoilt shores and old style charm in this part of the island. If you’re craving a bit more excitement then Lassi is only a further fifteen minutes away and is home to popular beaches, bars and lots of fun water sports.

Avithos is the ideal choice for your Greek Island holiday if you are looking for fabulous beaches, great tavernas, beautiful coastal and mountain scenery, easy walking on quiet country lanes but still just a short drive to the island's capital.
Situated on the southern coast of Kefalonia, just a few kilometres from the airport and Argostoli, Ai Avithos is located in the area known locally as Leivathos – made up of picturesque villages and some gorgeous sandy beaches. There are also a good few attractions in this area such as the Castle of St.George, atop its acropolis and offering superb views all over the area – well worth a visit as is the Monastery of St. Andreas.
