Neighbourhood information

Rich history, historical landmarks, beautiful architecture and a breathtaking landscape - all in a 2 km radius! A calming river flow lies in front of the green parks located across the street as BOKUN Aparments & Restaurant is located at the riverside of Kupa river, near the historical landmark of the Old bridge of Sisak - the first ever bridge built on the river Kupa, connecting the old and the new part of Sisak. Across the 1862 built bridge is the location of the Sisak city Cathedral "Uzvišenja Svetog Križa" and right next to it the archeological site "Siscia in situ" located at the center of the city. The city center itself contains museums and historical landmarks built by the Romans a long time ago when Sisak (roman Siscia) was an important intersection of roads and crafts centers, as well as the center of the Imperial office for tax collecting. The pride and beauty of the city of Sisak is perhaps most incorporated in its most famous historical landmark - the fortress of Stari Grad.
