Ston is a small medieval town with the longest stone wall in Europe (5.5km) with narrow quiet streets, noble houses, exquisite restaurants and souvenir shops. It is also known for the oldest active saltworks in the world, the mussels and oysters growing farm in the gulf of Mali Ston and supreme quality wine production all along the Pelješac peninsula
Ston is situated in the Dubrovnik-Neretva County of Croatia. It is only half an hour ride from Dubrovnik, the most prominent tourist destination in the Mediterranean, close to the beautiful islands of Korčula and Mljet and near the towns of Mostar, Međugorje and Sarajevo.
