Escape to Marichi Residence, a serene adults-only bed and breakfast situated in the picturesque village of Marici, just a short drive from the historic town of Labin in stunning Istria. Comprising three carefully renovated old houses, preserved with authentic elements, our residence offers a unique blend of rustic charm and modern comfort. Our property features 8 spacious and elegant rooms, each with a king-size bed and a comfortable en suite bathroom. Accommodating a maximum of 16 guests, we guarantee privacy, peace, and personalized service. Enjoy a refreshing swim in our outdoor pool (4 x 12 meters), relax in the tranquil garden, or unwind with a glass of good wine or prosecco while reading a book in peaceful surroundings. Start your day with a hearty breakfast made from homemade products and local ingredients sourced from nearby producers. Dinner is also available by prior arrangement, offering authentic local cuisine.
We are friends who love meeting new people and who strive to create a welcoming and friendly atmosphere where guests feel at home and entertained. Renovation of the Residence which took place in 2024/2025 has been managed and conducted to a very large extent by the hosts. The decor and design have been thoughtfully curated by Roberta, who is an established artist and decorator. This includes hand-painted interior and exterior walls and facades, created using a special sponge technique. Throughout the hallways there are paintings from Daniela’ private collection, adding a personal and artistic touch to the residence. Miska is a very good chef and takes charge of everything inside and outside the Residence.
Just 10 km from Labin and 15 km from the sea, our location allows you to explore Istria’s stunning beaches and coastal scenery. Here, the past and present meet, blending history with modern comfort, charm with tranquility. Guest can discover charming villages, cultural heritage sites, or simply relax in our serene environment.
