Hello, we are Damir and Jelena Štimac! We, along with our three kids and a team of dedicated staff, are the people behind Winery Rizman and Winery Rizman B&B.
The Štimac family's winegrowing tradition dates back to the early 20th century, starting with the great-grandfather Mihovil Mijo Popich, known as Rizman. Despite challenges like vine disease, the family persevered, expanding vineyards in Croatia's Komarna region.
Today, we have vineyards and olive trees in Komarna, Croatia. Our winery, named Rizman, honors our heritage and commitment to winemaking. Embracing organic practices, we cultivate native varieties like Plavac mali, Pošip, and Tribidrag. Our dedication to authenticity and quality reflects our family's legacy in winemaking.
Our family estate's evolution includes venturing into hospitality, with the launch of a modern winery in 2012 and a quaint family B&B in 2024. We aim to showcase our region's splendor, the serene ambiance of our vineyards, and the breathtaking vistas from our property to fellow travelers seeking to explore Croatia and indulge in wines, olive oil, and local cuisine.
