Paparisa Homestay is a small beachfront escape located on Kri Island — just a few steps from one of Raja Ampat’s most beautiful house reefs. We offer five thoughtfully designed wooden bungalows, each with a private bathroom, ocean view, and just enough comfort to make you feel right at home.
We keep things simple but cozy: comfortable beds, locally prepared meals, and front-row seats to stunning sunsets. You don’t need to go far to snorkel with baby sharks, spot colorful fish, or relax with a book in the shade.
Paparisa means “a small house open to every guest” in the Moluccan language — and that’s exactly the kind of place we’ve tried to create.
Hi! I’m Rio, your host at Paparisa Homestay. I’m originally from Maluku, and I’ve always loved the ocean and the peaceful rhythm of island life. Together with my Dutch wife, I started Paparisa as a dream project — a small, cozy homestay where guests can feel at home while exploring the beauty of Raja Ampat.
We built Paparisa with love, one bungalow at a time, and every detail reflects the way we like to live: simply, comfortably, and close to nature. If I’m not helping guests or fixing something around the homestay, you’ll probably find me in the water with my snorkel or camera.
We’re happy to help you settle in, explore the reef, or just unwind in a quiet spot by the sea.
