Dear Sir/Madam, Thank you very much for your inquiry. We would like to inform you that Gili Trawangan is above all a very safe island where you can feel free even at night. There are a lot of activities to entertain your kids like snorkeling, fishing, horse riding, bicycle, diving, as a matter of fact, Gili Trawangan is an island without cars or motor bikes. The only transport allowed over here is horse cart or bicycles which it creates an unique environment free of pollution. The sea in the Gili Trawangan and neighborhood islands, is very shallow therefore, in most occasions very safe however, precautions as in any other sea has to be taken. The visit to the near by islands is another activity that most people enjoys. Not to forget the Turtle Conservation, one visit that your kids will never forget. Regarding Restaurants, this small island caters nowadays for all different world wide cuisine. Our restaurant Edenia will delight you with fantastic Mediterranean cuisine and wonderful cocktails, wines, spirits etc. Some shops are available in the island however, limited, the main reason of most visitors here is not shopping but natural activities and if wished some bars with l
