Villa Kanari Batukaras is a two-storey house combining a classic Javanese Limasan style and modern construction, built in 2015. 90% of the woods used are recycled materials of wooden houses in east java from the 1920s. Furthermore, In the spirit of sustainability and conservation, the house occupy only 5% of the 4500 sqm area of previously raw forest, resulting a charming blending of nature and modern living.
All rooms has magnificent view of the famous Cijulang River, surrounded by tropical garden with the growing Kanari trees in between. It is only minutes from the Reef break surfing beach. The access to the villa is by foot or motorbike only, 300m from the mainroad. This makes this property away from busy road noise, most of the time quiet and serene.
I fell in love with batukaras and its charm since the first time I visited this place in 2008. I came with a group of adventurer from Jakarta to initially open the first trip ever of Greencanyon Bodyrafting. Apart from that, it was the time when I started surfing too!
I love travelling and to have a little bit of adventure in nature. I like outdoor activities but could drown myself in books or listening music for days. I love deep talk, phillosophies, arts and enjoy cooking sometimes. My favourite is taking a slow walk and find a surprising syncronicities and meaning of the mundane life.
