The property is a 3 minute walk from the famous Ballymastocker beach and is a 4 minute walk from the Portsalon Golf Club and Links, which has a bar and restaurant. The property is a few minutes walk to the local shop. The Stores bar and restaurant are also within walking distance and are located at the pier where water sports are available to enjoy. There are also spectacular costal drives around the Fanad peninsula including attractions such as the famous Fanad Lighthouse. Letterkenny is a 30 minute drive from the property

Portsalon is a small picturesque costal village in County Donegal, Ireland. It is located beside Portsalon Golf Club/Links which overlooks the famous Ballymastocker beach, which was voted the second most beautiful beach in the world by the Observer newspaper. There are spectacular costal views and attractions nearby such as Fanad Lighthouse. A new car park has been constructed beside the entrance to the beach which is free to all visitors. The local link bus is available outside the local shop which goes to Letterkenny 3 times per day, and is approximately 30 minute drive.
