The bedrooms at Abhainn Ri Farmhouse feature a TV, complimentary toiletries, luxury bathrobes, power shower with stunning views of the surrounding countryside. Guests are able to enjoy the shared lounge complete with log burning stove in the Farmhouse B&B and a privite area in the suite. The Garden Suite has its very own private entrance and kitchenette is an annex to the Farmhouse B&B. Offering bed and breakfast accommodation with complimentary WiFi on-site. Breakfast is served every morning in the quirky farmhouse dining room. Guests order breakfast from our menu on arrival. Our extensive menu offers Irish breakfast, porridge, pancakes, omlettes with our free range farm eggs and all breads, cakes, scones and muffins made by Joe & Niamh. We bake our own Irish soda bread, yeast breads, sour dough and of course scones and muffins. We cater for gluten free, vegitarians and vegan diets. We have a range of tea, coffee, jams and jellies. 100 acres for farm trails for guests to enjoy. The property is just under 1 hour's drive from Dublin city centre. Dublin Airport
The farmhouse has been in the Byrne family for five generations and we restored it in 2013, enhancing all its wonderful natural features. The house looks out over the lakes and the bedrooms have wonderful views. Please note that Abhainn Ri Farmhouse does not offer complete self catering facilities. Each bedroom has a fridge, microwave, kettle and a small selection of glasses, cups, and plates so guests can enjoy snacks. We recommend local restaurants for dinner. The Garden Suite, which has stunning views and superb furnishings and a private entrance. The farmhouse suite is ideal for honeymoons or special escapes. The farmhouse suite has a kitchenette, which is ideal for guests wishing to prepare snacks. Owners Joe & Niamh welcome you to stay at Abhainn Rí Farmhouse Bed and Breakfast in very scenic County Wicklow. We welcome our guests to enjoy a home baked treat on arrival in you room. Our guests order breakfast the evening before and each breakfast is cooked to order at the agree time. Guests can book afternoon tea in or even a baking class with Niamh in advance of arrival. Joe has created a wonderful farm trail through the 100 acres to the lakeshore and all our guests love to wander.
Abhainn Rí is located on farmland overlooking the stunning sweeping landscape of the kings river valley as it flows into Blessington lakes. The Byrne family have created a wonderful welcoming space where visitors can reconnect with nature and experience country living and freedom away from the stresses of everyday life. Wander freely through the fields and follow the Mindfulness Trail dotted with notes of inspiration while enjoying a little banter with the friendly farm animals along the way. Russborough house is just 5 minutes drive away. Glendalough is 20 minutes drive to the most visited site in Ireland. Sorry we do not allow pets stay on site.
