This cosy one bedroom apartment is located in Clonbur. The apartment boasts the perfect location in the heart of a beautiful and welcoming village. Tastefully furnished throughout with all mod cons . This is the perfect touring base for the West of Ireland and Connemara regions, ideally located between Lough Corrib and Lough Mask for fishing. Bakery, supermarket, bars and restaurants within walking distance. Forest walking,cycling trails and mountain walks , Award winning winning local Bakery right from your doorstep.

Neighbourhood information

This is the ideal touring base for the west of Ireland. Clonbur is centrally located between the beautiful lakes of Lough Corrib and Lough Mask surrounded by mountains and woodland. The locals are friendly and welcoming. You can treat yourself to the award winning bakery in the village and enjoy a picnic in the woods. There is traditional music in the highly rated local bars and restaurants. Mount Gable is situated to the west of the village, the walk is generally easy with panoramic views over the lakes, forest and countryside. You can walk/cycle the 7km to the famous village of Cong and Ashford castle through beautiful woodland trails. Clonbur has a fantastic playground. All attractions of the West are easily visited from this location. Coastal drives and numerous beaches are within a 40 minute drive. We are within a hours drive from Galway city ,Westport , Clifden. Ireland West Airport - 1hr Shannon Airport - 2hrs Dublin Airport - 3hrs Car is recommended. Limited public transport.
