Majestically set on its own grounds, our home offers luxury and grandeur within a 5 minutes drive to the buzzing town of Donegal. Catch up with friends in our large open plan kitchen living space or relax beside the fire in either of our two sitting rooms. Guests love us for our space, our modern & comfortable furnishings & our furry 'neigh'bours. We are perfect for large groups & families or those attending a wedding nearby. Our location offers: ★ Spacious accommodation surrounded by beautiful Irish countryside ★ A very friendly horse and foal in the field next to the house ★ Beautiful scenery & walks on your doorstep ★ Less than a 5 minute drive to pubs, restaurants and shops of Donegal Town ★ 5 minutes to attractions such as Donegal Castle, the Waterbus, Railway Museum and the 'Bank' Walk ★ For golfers, the links course at Murvagh Golf Club is just a 15 minute drive away The house offers: ★ Hotel Quality linen, towels & handwash ★ Free WiFi ★ Offering 4 spacious bedrooms all of which are ensuite - two double bedrooms, one superking & a twin room with 2 single beds. ★ One of our double bedrooms is on the ground floor so suitable for those with restricted mobility. ★ We have a downstairs bathroom with a bath and separate shower. ★ Our bright and airy sunroom has a magnificent round dining table & we also have a dining table & chairs in our kitchen ★ Our kitchen comes equipped with appliances including a fridge freezer, ceramic hob & oven, microwave, kettle, toaster etc ★ Our open plan living room has a solid fuel stove & flat screen Smart TV ★ Our second living room offers an open fireplace, luxurious furnishings & a TV ★ Our sizeable utility room has a washing machine & dryer - ideal for those longer stays ★ There is room to store sports equipment such as bikes, golf clubs etc in our outdoor shed ★ The house boasts a large garden to the front and rear of the property. ★ Plenty of room for cars to park outside the house
Our family is local to the area and my husband and I live nearby. The house sits adjacent to our farm where we keep a variety of animals including horses, cattle and sheep - in the summer we love watching the young foals play in the field beside the house. Donegal is known for its scenery and when we have time, we enjoy taking walks on the local beaches of Murvagh and Rossnowlagh. We feel privileged to have so many beautiful restaurants to choose from in Donegal Town - some of our favourites being Quay West, The Market House & The Harbour. We are looking forward to our guests experiencing all that Donegal has to offer! We operate a lock box system to access keys so guests can arrive at their leisure.
